This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit amalops.com, request a demo or use our mobile applications, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you submit a demo request, contact form, or newsletter sign-up, we collect the information you provide directly: name, company name, work email, phone number and any message you write. We do not collect payment information through this website.
Demo and contact form submissions on this website are processed through a third-party form-delivery service and routed to our team's inbox. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
This website uses functional browser storage to remember your preferences, such as your choice of light or dark theme. Blocking it will not prevent you from using the website, although your theme preference will not persist between visits.
We also use Umami, a privacy-focused web analytics tool, to count visits and understand which pages are used. It is loaded from a subdomain of amalops.com that we operate, on this website and on our product pages. Umami records page views with the page address, referring page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and approximate location (country or region) derived from the request. The Umami script does not set cookies, and we have not configured it to track individual visitors across sites or to record the content of forms.
We use Google Tag Manager to operate website analytics and, where we run paid campaigns, advertising and measurement tags. Where an organisation licenses the AmalOps platform and uploads employee data into it, that organisation is the controller of that data and AmalOps acts as a processor on their instructions under the terms of the applicable customer agreement. Our mobile applications are provided to organisations that license the AmalOps platform, and to their employees. Depending on the features your employer has enabled, the applications may collect or process:
The customer organisation that licenses the platform is the data controller for employee data processed in the applications. AmalOps acts as the processor and handles that data only on the customer’s instructions and to provide the service. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it.
We protect data in the applications with administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including access controls, encrypted transmission, and logging of access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Requests about employee data in the applications should go to your employer’s HR administrator first. To request deletion of an account and its data, see our account deletion page.
We retain demo request and contact information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a customer, for the duration of our business relationship plus any period required by applicable law.
Employee and other data held in the platform on a customer’s behalf is retained for the duration of the customer’s agreement, in line with the customer’s instructions, and is deleted or returned after the agreement ends, except where we must keep it to comply with the law, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When we delete an account at your request we do so as described on our account deletion page, and residual copies in routine backups are overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle.
We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including access controls limiting who in our team can view enquiry data, encrypted transmission of form submissions, and logging of access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and review our controls periodically.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

We will respond within 30 days. If your data is held in the platform on behalf of your employer, we may direct your request to your employer, who is the controller of that data.

We do not run high-volume marketing sequences, and every message we send includes a way to stop receiving further communications. Asking us to stop takes effect immediately and does not affect our ability to respond to a direct question from you later.
Our website and platform are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
