Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

AmalOps ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit amalops.com or request a demo, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you submit a demo request, contact form, or newsletter sign-up, we collect the information you provide directly: name, company name, work email, and phone number. We do not collect payment information through this website.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to demo requests and contact form submissions.
  • To send you information about AmalOps products and services you have asked about.
  • To improve our website and product based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

How Form Submissions Are Processed

Demo and contact form submissions on this website are processed through a third-party form-delivery service and routed to our team's inbox. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain demo request and contact information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a customer, for the duration of our business relationship plus any period required by applicable law.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Cookies

This website uses functional browser storage to remember your preferences, such as your choice of light or dark theme. It also uses a tag management tool, described in the following section, which may result in analytics or measurement cookies being set on your device depending on the tags we have active. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and blocking them will not prevent you from using this website, although your theme preference will not persist between visits.

Lawful Basis for Processing

Where data protection law requires us to identify a lawful basis for processing your personal information, we rely on the following. For responding to a demo request or contact enquiry, we rely on your consent and on the legitimate interest of responding to a commercial enquiry you initiated. For maintaining records of a business relationship, we rely on contractual necessity and, where applicable, our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, and we will stop the relevant processing.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit this website, limited technical information may be collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure and analytics, including your approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This information is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to detect abuse or technical faults. It is not used to build individual marketing profiles.

Third Parties and Sub-Processors

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this website and respond to enquiries. Form submissions are delivered by a form-delivery service, web fonts and the map on our contact page are served by third-party providers, and certain illustrative images are served from third-party image hosts. Each may process technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the requested content. We do not pass your form submissions to any party other than our own team and the delivery service that routes them.

International Transfers

Our team operates from the United Arab Emirates and our service providers may process data in other jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred outside the country in which it was collected, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy and with applicable law, including relying on the contractual terms offered by our providers.

Data Security

We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including access controls limiting who in our team can view enquiry data, encrypted transmission of form submissions, and logging of access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and review our controls periodically.

Customer Data in the AmalOps Platform

This Privacy Policy covers the amalops.com website. Where an organisation licenses the AmalOps platform and uploads employee data into it, that organisation is the controller of that data and AmalOps acts as a processor on their instructions under the terms of the applicable customer agreement. Employees of our customers who have questions about how their personal data is handled inside the platform should contact their own employer’s HR function in the first instance.

Marketing Communications

If you ask us about our products, we may contact you with information relevant to that enquiry. We do not run high-volume marketing sequences, and every message we send includes a way to stop receiving further communications. Asking us to stop takes effect immediately and does not affect our ability to respond to a direct question from you later.

Children

Our website and platform are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, our service providers, or applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continuing to use the website after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.

Analytics and Cookies

We use a tag management tool to operate website analytics, and where we run paid campaigns, advertising and remarketing tags. Depending on which of these are active, cookies may be set on your device. We use analytics only to understand in aggregate how visitors find and use this website, not to build individual profiles of website visitors.

This website also uses functional browser storage to remember your preferences, such as your choice of light or dark theme.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not prevent you from using this website, although your theme preference will not persist between visits. If you are in a jurisdiction requiring consent before non-essential cookies are set and believe this was not handled correctly, contact us at [email protected].

Interactions We Record

So that we can understand which parts of the website are useful, we record a small number of interaction events: form submissions, clicks on our WhatsApp, telephone, and email links, and use of the free calculators. A form submission event may include the company name you provided in the form. We do not record the figures you enter into any calculator.

Service Providers

We use a small number of established third-party service providers to operate this website: to host and protect it, to serve fonts and map content, to deliver form submissions to our team, and to provide analytics. Each may process limited technical information, such as your IP address, only as necessary to deliver the requested content. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share form submissions with any party other than our own team and the service that delivers them. If you would like to know which providers we currently use, contact us at [email protected].
