About AmalOps — an AI-first company

Built for the region
by people who know it

AmalOps exists because GCC enterprises deserved HR software engineered for their labour laws, their workforce complexity, and their pace, not a global platform with a compliance module bolted on afterward.

Our Mission

Give every GCC enterprise
one AI-first system for its people.

HR, payroll, recruitment, and engagement are still run on disconnected spreadsheets and global software that was never designed for WPS, Emiratisation, or Arabic-first workforces. We are an AI-first company: our mission is to replace that fragmentation with one AI-native platform that understands the region natively, so HR teams spend their time on people, not paperwork.

Our Vision

The default HR operating
system of the GCC.

We want AmalOps to be the platform every enterprise in the region runs on by default, the way global companies default to global HR suites today, but built with the GCC as the starting point, not an afterthought. Every market, every language, every compliance requirement, covered natively.

Our Team

Senior professionals,
deep regional experience

AmalOps is led and built by a senior team, not a first-time founder group learning the market as they go.

30+
Years combined experience in GCC markets
50+
Years combined experience globally
6
GCC markets covered from day one
🏢
Regional HR & compliance leadership
Our HR and compliance leads have run payroll, WPS filings, and Emiratisation programs inside GCC enterprises themselves, not just built software for others to do it.
🧠
Enterprise software & AI engineering
Our engineering leadership has shipped enterprise-scale software and applied AI systems across global markets before bringing that depth to the GCC.
🌐
On-the-ground GCC presence
With teams based in the UAE and India, we combine regional proximity to customers with global engineering standards.
Our Values

What we hold ourselves to

🌐
Built for the region, not retrofitted
Every feature starts from GCC labour law and workforce reality, not a global template with local patches.
⚖️
Compliance is non-negotiable
WPS, GOSI, and Emiratisation accuracy are treated as core product requirements, not optional add-ons.
Speed of delivery, without shortcuts
We commit to under-6-week go-lives because we respect our customers time, not by cutting corners on data quality.
🤝
Ownership, not a support ticket queue
Our senior team stays accountable for outcomes after go-live, not just the initial sale.
Why We Exist

The gap we kept
running into

Everyone on our senior team has, at some point, sat inside a GCC organisation trying to make a global HR platform handle a WPS file, a GOSI classification, or a gratuity calculation that the product was never designed for. The workaround is always the same: a spreadsheet alongside the system, maintained by one person who understands it, reconciled manually every month.

That pattern is not a failure of any particular vendor. It follows from where the product was built. A platform designed for one market and extended outward treats regional compliance as configuration to be added later, and later is usually incomplete. The result is that the most regulated, highest-consequence part of HR — getting people paid correctly and lawfully — is the part the software helps with least.

What we decided to build instead

AmalOps starts from the obligations. UAE WPS and the SIF file, Saudi GOSI with its two branches, Qatari and Bahraini and Omani and Kuwaiti social insurance, end-of-service under six different formulas, nationalisation frameworks that derive from contribution records rather than HR reports. These are first-class configurations in the platform, not localisations layered on top.

Everything else follows from that foundation: one employee record that payroll, recruitment, performance and engagement all read from, so nothing is re-keyed and no metric is contestable. And AI applied where it does real work — scanning a payroll run before submission, flagging an attrition risk while the person is still employed, drafting a compliant letter in seconds — rather than as a chatbot bolted onto a dashboard.

How we work with customers

We quote after a scoping conversation rather than publishing a price list, because headcount, entity count, module selection and deployment model change the answer materially and a list price would be wrong for most people. We commit to under-6-week implementations because we respect that your team has a day job. And the senior people who sold the project stay accountable after go-live, which is a deliberately different arrangement from being handed to a support queue.

If you want to understand how we think about the problems in your market, our guidance articles cover WPS, GOSI, gratuity, leave law and overtime in depth, the free calculators apply the statutory formulas directly, and the glossary defines 215 terms in plain English. Or simply talk to us.
