Six calculators built around the statutory rules of the six GCC markets. Each one shows its working, so you can check the logic rather than trust a black box.
These calculators are provided for general guidance and estimation only and do not constitute legal, tax, financial, or accounting advice. They apply statutory minimum formulas, which are amended periodically in every GCC market, and your contract, entity, jurisdiction, and individual circumstances all change the outcome. Always cross-check any figure independently against the current law and the signed employment contract, and obtain advice from a qualified legal or payroll professional before acting on, paying, or communicating any amount. AmalOps accepts no liability for any loss, claim, or dispute arising from use of these tools or reliance on their output.
Most online GCC calculators apply a single formula and present a number with no explanation. That is fine until the number is wrong, and in this region it frequently is, because the rules differ by market, by nationality, by service length, and by whether the employee resigned or was terminated.
Each calculator here shows its working: which base was used, which threshold applied, which cap was hit. If the figure differs from what your payroll produced, you can see exactly where the two diverge, which is usually more useful than the figure itself.
Three caveats worth stating plainly. These apply statutory minimums, and contractual terms more generous than the minimum are enforceable and common. Rates, ceilings, and thresholds are revised periodically in every GCC market, so verify the current position before relying on a figure. And specific circumstances, particularly around resignation, fixed-term contracts, unpaid leave, and summary dismissal, change the outcome in ways a general calculator cannot capture.
For the reasoning behind each formula, the guidance articles in our blog cover WPS, GOSI, end-of-service, leave law, and overtime in depth.
Gratuity, leave, and social insurance are liabilities that accrue every month for every employee. AmalOps maintains them as live ledgers reconciled to your finance provision, so the numbers are known rather than calculated when someone asks.
